Feeling stressed and overwhelmed by our covid-turbulent world?
Without a doubt, the fall-out of the Covid19 pandemic is taking a heavy toll on our mental health and wellbeing. While anxious feelings are a perfectly natural and understandable response, they do not feel good mentally, emotionally or physically and this can be tricky to navigate on a day to day basis. But we are not powerless. There are definite things we can do to help ourselves feel better, more settled and regulated, even on the most wobbly of days.
…This is the subject of this ArtFelt Conversation. It offers creative, highly experiential art making processes alongside practical tools and up-to-date information about harnessing our neurophysiology (and more specifically, polyvagal theory) to relieve nervous suffering. To my mind, it’s a game changer in terms of helping our self and our nervous system feel better.
